Introduction to Oil Painting

This class is for anyone interested in exploring the world of oil painting for the first time. Through still life and landscape, you will explore basic brush techniques, colour theory and mixing, and a variety of ways to work this exciting medium on canvas. Required Materials: Students are asked to bring two brushes (#2 angle and a #4 bright), a 9x12 canvas pad, a palette paper pad, and an apron. Paint will be provided.
