An Introduction to Colour Theory

Ever wonder how artists create such vibrant paintings using a minimal palette? Well wonder no more! In this class we will be learning the fundamentals in colour theory! This lesson can expand its use through various mediums like acrylic paint, watercolour, gauche painting, pencil crayon and more! Colour theory is the load bearing component to any successful piece! All materials provided. Instructor: Kaity Craig September 25 | 6-8 p.m. | Community Arts Room Cost: $60 Kaity is a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, as well as the New Brunswick community college, where she has completed both the Foundation Visual Arts program, a diploma in Digital Media and graphic design. She currently works as a professional graphic designer, but Acrylic painting gives her the freedom to be more playful, intuitive, and imaginative in her creativity. Refund Policy: Any registrant who cancels their registration 10 or fewer days prior to the start date of the class/workshop will forfeit a $50 cancellation fee. The remainder of the registration cost will be refunded. No refunds will be issued once the program begins.
